Well, sometimes it pays to explore. For Richard and my anniversary, we slipped away for a long weekend to London, Ontario. Unbeknownst to me, Richard, (my erstwhile manager) found on the web an open mic concert in London, Ontario, on one of the days we were to be there on our getaway. So on this particular day, we found some folks at a small storefront, (Old East Studios), and signed up to do a few songs. We enjoyed listening to the performers, ranging from a threesome, singing original songs with 2 guitars, bass and harmonies, to a harmonica playing/singing man performing Willie Nelson… I was last, and had decided to do one of my favorite Beatles songs, In My Life, and 2 originals, Your Sweet Love, and Wish.  It was a great audience, and by request did one more, ending with When It's All Been Said and Done, (Robin Mark). Apparently, the "folk roots" run deep in this neck of the woods, and it was fun to add this to our getaway!
